Karnal: A sensational case of rape of a minor girl has come to light in Karnal district of Haryana. It is alleged that the accused youth lured the minor took her with him and did wrong things with her in the car. He also threatened to kill her if she told anyone. The victim told her family about her ordeal.
The matter was brought to the notice of the police and an FIR was lodged. The family has also accused the police of not taking concrete action. The victim complained to the Superintendent of Police. After this the police registered a case under the POCSO Act on the basis of the complaint and started an investigation.
The complainant’s father, a resident of Karnal, told the police in his complaint that the incident took place on October 27 at around 5.30 pm. The accused lured his daughter and took her with him and did wrong things with her. The same day at 11.15 pm, the father lodged a complaint at Sector 32-33 police station. The next day on October 28, his daughter returned home.
She told that the accused youth kept her in the car and did the wrong things. The girl said that if she told anyone about this, the accused would kill her.
The victim’s father added that the accused had been harassing his daughter for the last two months. A complaint was lodged in the police station about this earlier, after which the accused apologized and assured him not to harass the girl in the future, but despite this, he continued his actions and committed a heinous crime.
On the basis of the complaint, a case has been registered against the accused and an investigation has been started. The accused will be arrested soon
