A murder has come to light in Sonipat for the second consecutive day. A young man was brutally killed by beating with a stick late at night inside the bus stand premises. After getting information about the incident in the morning, the police reached the spot and took the body in custody, and sent it for post-mortem.
On Friday morning, the body of a young man soaked in blood was found lying in the bus stand premises near Delhi stand, which was reported to the police. The police who reached the spot saw that there were serious marks of stick blows on the body of the deceased, which clearly showed that he was beaten to death. The age of the deceased is said to be around 35 years, but he has not been identified yet.
When the police scanned the CCTV, it was found that a suspect was coming to the bus stand at around 11:54 pm late at night. In the initial investigation of the police, the matter appears to be a mutual fight. The process of scanning CCTV footage and questioning the people around is going on.
The police are questioning the people of the bus stand area, nearby localities, and shopkeepers to identify the deceased. Also, CCTV footage is being scanned to find clues related to the murder.
According to the officer, efforts are being made to identify the deceased. Prima facie, it seems that the murder was committed by attacking with a stick. The case will be solved soon. Along with scanning the CCTV, the police have called a team of fingerprint experts to collect evidence.
