Nayab Saini elected as leader of legislative party, oath-ceremony tomorrow

The BJP legislative party will now go to the Raj Bhavan to stake claim to form the government.

Panchkula: Nayab Saini will remain the Chief Minister in Haryana. He was elected as the leader of the legislative party in the BJP meeting in Panchkula on Wednesday. In the meeting, former Home Minister Anil Vij and MLA Krishna Bedi proposed Saini’s name on which all the MLAs agreed. Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar were also present in the meeting as observers.

The BJP legislative party will now go to the Raj Bhavan to stake claim to form the government. As per reports, he will meet Governot today at 2 pm and stake claim to form a government.

The swearing-in will take place tomorrow at 11 am on Thursday. A big stage is being prepared for the oath taking ceremony at Shalimar Ground in Panchkula. 37 leaders including PM Narendra Modi and Chief Ministers of states ruled by BJP and NDA allies will be present in the oath ceremony of Nayab Singh Saini.

At the Haryana BJP Legislative Party meeting in Panchkula, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said, “I am very happy that you all have again chosen Nayab Singh Saini as your leader…” Union HM Amit Shah further said, “It was propagated that injustice is being done to the farmers. I want to tell the opposition that if there is any state in the whole country which buys 24 crops on MSP, it is Haryana. I want to tell them that if anyone has done the work of purchasing the maximum number of crops at MSP, then it is Prime Minister Narendra Modi…”
