No. 1 Haryana Air NCC Squadron of Hisar district conducted the A certificate examination under the aegis of Rohtak Group Directorate. 475 cadets from 21 schools participated in this examination. The examination was held on March 23 at Thakur Das Bhargava Senior Secondary School Hisar and Vaish Model Senior School Bhiwani.
Developed a sense of patriotism and courage
NCC develops a sense of discipline, patriotism and courage in the youth. It promotes leadership ability and a sense of teamwork in them. A, B and C certificate holders of NCC get many benefits. C certificate holders are given special preference in government jobs.
Special exemption to NCC cadets during recruitment
NCC cadets get special exemption during recruitment in Army, Navy, Air Force, Agniveer, paramilitary forces and police. Bonus marks are given in Inspector and Sub Inspector recruitment examination in the police department. C certificate holders get 5%, B certificate holders get 3% and A certificate holders get 2% bonus marks. NCC certificate holders are also given special concessions in admission to colleges and universities.
