Haryana : A scuffle broke out on Holi between members of the same family in Kot Mohalla, Sonipat, Haryana. To take revenge, Rohit along with his father Satyavan attacked his uncle Rakesh. In the attack, he was hit on the head with an iron pipe. After that the accused went to attack Rakesh’s son Amit but Amit escaped to save his life.
After which the rest of the family members present in the house and grandfather Ramkumar took Rakesh to the civil hospital. Where doctors declared Rakesh dead. According to Amit’s statement, the police had registered a case of murder against Uncle Satyavan and his son Rohit.
The police took action and caught the accused. Besides, weapons were also confiscated and sent to jail on the orders of the court.
In the hearing of this case, the court of ASJ Ajay Parashar has declared the accused father and son guilty. While sentencing the court, both of them will have to pay life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 10,000 and under the section of house breaking and assault, they will have to pay three years imprisonment and a fine of Rs 5,000.
