Hisar: NHM employees in the civil hospital of Hisar district held a 2-hour pen-down symbolic strike over pending demands. During this, the employees raised slogans.
Swasthya Sangh Haryana Union leader Jagat Bisla said that meetings have been held with the government several times regarding pending demands. The demands are not being met. Tomorrow, a strike can also be held in the state-level meeting over pending demands. Vaccination was stopped by all ANMs for two hours.
Here, the civil surgeon of the hospital has issued an advisory regarding the strike to be held on July 25. Civil surgeon Sapna Gehlot said that due to the strike, the services of health workers like DMS, consultants, etc. will be taken. If necessary, the officers themselves have also given instructions to examine the patients coming to the OPD. So that the general public does not have to face any kind of problems among the patients coming to the medical institutions.
Sumit Sharma said that from doctors to 4th class employees have been providing their services through NHM for the last 25 years. They have had many small demands for the last 6 years. These are not being fulfilled by the current government. Due to this, there is a lot of anger among the employees, and the salary deducted during the strike has not been given yet. Even the temporary employees working in NHM have not been made permanent. The benefit of 7th pay is also not being given to the employees.
Union’s district head Anil said that recently a meeting of the Joint Front of NHM employees was held with Additional Chief Secretary Health Sudhir Rajpal in his office. In which the NHM employees were informed about their demands. But no decision could be taken in the meeting. Due to this, the Joint Front announced a two-hour pen-down strike on July 24th.
