Oath ceremony of newly elected office bearers of Rohtak bar association today

After the president was elected unopposed, elections were held on 17 March, in which voting was done for the vice-president, general secretary, joint secretary and library in-charge.

The oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected office bearers of the Bar Association in Rohtak district of Haryana will be held in the hall of the Bar Association today. Minister Dr. Arvind Sharma will attend it as the chief guest. Also, former minister Manish Grover, Mayor Ram Avtar Valmiki will also be special guests.

The newly appointed President of the Bar Association Deepak Hooda said that two candidates were in the fray for the post of President, out of which former President Arvind Sheoran was suspended for 5 years by the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana. After this, he was declared victorious for the post of President unopposed. Elections were held for other posts on March 17, in which all the candidates of his panel won.

Let us tell you that the election of the Bar Association was to be held on February 28, but a lot of controversy was raised regarding the voter list. Election officer Pradeep Malik was also accused of cutting votes. Elections were not held on February 28 by the election officer. After this, the matter of election also went to the court, but the opposition had to face defeat from there too.
