Jhajjar: Polling for 90 assembly seats started this morning in Haryana. Politicians, and prominent faces are casting their votes and encouraging people to come forward and exercise their right. Double Olympic medalist Manu Bhaker cast her vote here at a polling station in Jhajjar. The experience was special for her as Manu is a first-time voter and cast her vote for the first time with her family.
After coming out she showed her inked finger and motivated youth to come forward and vote in large numbers. She said, “Being the youth of this country, it is our responsibility to cast our vote for the most favourable candidate. Small steps lead to big goals… I voted for the first time..”

Manu cast her vote here at a polling station in Jhajjar. BJP’s candidate Kaptan Birdhana is contesting from this seat facing competition from INC’s candidate Geeta Bhukkal. The polling for 90 seats will be held today till 6 pm.
The counting of the votes will be done on October 8. Along with the Haryana Assembly elections, results of Jammu and Kashmir elections will also be announced.
