Haryana: On Friday, at Faridabad railway track two coaches of a goods train going from Agra-Mathura to Delhi derailed. At 5 am the incident took place near Old Faridabad Railway Station. This did not affect the movement of passenger trains. Reasons is not known why the coaches of the goods train derailed. Railway officials and thier teams are working to bring the coaches back on track.
SHO Rajpal of Government Railway Police (GRP) said that the incident took place at around 5 am. A goods train was going from Mathura to Delhi via the loop line. When the goods train reached the underpass of Old Faridabad, suddenly two of its coaches derailed. After receiving information about this, top officials of RPF-GRP and Railway Department reached the spot. They started trying to bring the train back on track.
SHO Rajpal said that the goods train was loaded with coal. If there was a passenger train in its place, there could have been a huge accident.
There was no impact on any train. At present, a rescue operation is going on to bring the train back on track.
Only after this it will be clear what was the real reason behind the accident.
