The police have arrested an accused in the case of firing on Haryanvi singer Rahul Yadav Fazilpuria. The accused has been identified as Vishal (25), a resident of Jajal village in Sonipat district. During interrogation, it was found that he, along with his other associates, had done a recce of Fazilpuria’s travel times, places of stay, etc. To do a recce, he came to Gurugram several times and stayed in different guest houses.
On the day of the incident, while doing recce, he had given information about this to his associates, on the basis of which his associates committed this crime. Gurugram Police spokesperson Sandeep Kumar said that the accused is being interrogated thoroughly. He said that something might be going on on social media, but the police are not aware of it. No comment can be made on this.
Fazilpuria has also maintained distance from the media in this entire case. Fazilpuria was shot at on Gurugram’s South Peripheral Road (SPR) on Monday night. He managed to escape by fleeing the Thar. A post going viral on social media claims that the shooting was over a transaction worth Rs 5 crore.
A man named Sunil Sardhania has allegedly claimed responsibility for the attack on social media. He claimed that Fazilpuria took the money and stopped answering his calls after he became a celebrity.
