Overspeed truck hits bike in Panipat, three friends seriously injured

Police have registered a case against the accused on the basis of the complaint.

Panipat: In Panipat, Haryana, an overspeed truck hit a bike. Due to this three friends were seriously injured. They were going home after work. The accused driver left the truck and fled from the spot.

The accident happened near the city’s new Anaj Mandi cut at around 10 pm. All three injured have been admitted to the hospital. After some improvement in the condition of one of the friends, he complained about the matter to the police. Police have registered a case against the accused on the basis of the complaint.

In the complaint given to Sector-29 police station, Rajesh said that he was originally a resident of the Kalyan village of Charkhi Dadri. Currently, he is a resident of Vikas Nagar, Street No. 10, Panipat. He works as an operator in Pan Foods Company.

On the night of January 4, at around 10:15 pm, he was going to his room on his bike with his two friends Vishal and Praveen. Vishal was driving the bike. He was sitting in the middle, while Praveen was sitting at the back.

On the way, when they reached Dharm Kanta near Anaj Mandi, a speeding truck came from behind and hit their bike. All three fell down in the accident. After the accident, the accused driver fled from the spot leaving the truck behind. All three friends were seriously injured in the accident. They called their roommate Sumit and called him to the spot. Sumit somehow took all three from there to the civil hospital.
