Palwal cash collector fatally shots, FIR register

Three youths came from behind on a Splendor bike with cloth tied on their faces.

Haryana: In Palwal, Haryana, a youth returning from collecting cash from a finance company on a bike was shot by masked bikers. The injured has been admitted to a hospital in Agra. On the complaint of his friend, the police registered a case of attempted murder against unknown bikers and started searching for them.

According to Hodal police station in-charge Mohammad Ilyas, Gautam Kumar, a resident of Sabora village in Bharatpur district (Rajasthan), has said in his complaint that he works in Bharat Finance Inclusion Limited.

On June 7, he had gone to collect cash on a bike with his friend Bobby, a resident of Kanjauli Ghat Ashok Nagar Madora in Mathura district (UP).

Both were going towards Hodal after collecting money from Kotvan and Lalpur on the bike.

Their bike was going from Maafi Jalalpur to Hodal. When the bike reached a little ahead of the JIO petrol pump ahead of the toll tax, then 3 youths came from behind on a Splendor bike with cloth tied on their faces. As soon as they came near his bike, the said youths shot Bobby in his temple and fled towards Hodal.

He somehow reached the toll with his friend and informed the finance company official Lokendra about the incident. After this, company officials Neeraj Sharma and Sanjeet reached there. Injured Bobby was taken to Kosi Hospital for treatment. From there, seeing his critical condition, he was taken to Agra. Currently, his treatment is going on in Agra Hospital.

Camp police station in-charge Dinesh Kumar said that Deshraj, a resident of Prakash Vihar Colony, had said in his complaint that he had gone to Rasulpur Chowk for some work on June 6 at around 11 pm. As soon as he reached, Pankaj scuffled with him and Gagan took out a pistol and fired directly at him with the intention of killing him, but he survived. Police have registered a case and started investigation.
