Karnal: A passenger train derailed between Nilokheri and Tarawadi railway stations of Karnal in Haryana. This train was going from Ambala to Delhi. The accident took place on the main railway line from Ambala to Delhi, due to which the movement of trains on this route got affected.
However, it is a matter of good fortune that there is no loss of life in this accident. On receiving the information, railway officials reached the spot and ordered an investigation. The reason for the derailment of the coach is not known yet. At present, efforts are being made to bring the coach back on track.
The coach derailed with a sudden explosion
Eyewitness Rohit Kumar said that at the time of the incident, there was a sudden loud explosion. Immediately after this, there were sounds of thunder and a coach of the train derailed. This accident happened at a short distance from Karnal station. He said that after the accident, the small children in the train started crying and the passengers got scared.
Police and railway officials took charge
As soon as the information about the incident was received, the railway police and local police reached the spot. At present, the cause of the accident is not known, but orders for investigation have been given. The team of the railway department is now trying to bring the coach back on track.
Impact on rail traffic, passengers facing trouble
Due to the rail accident, the movement of trains on this route has been affected. Many trains have been stopped at nearby stations, due to which passengers are facing trouble.
