Uchana: On the Patiala National Highway two tankers collided in Uchana last night. One of these tankers was full of petrol, due to which about 1000 litres of petrol spilt. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot, and the tanker was removed from the residential area.
The injured tanker driver was taken to Nabha Hospital in Punjab.
On seeing the new breaker, the oil tanker driver going ahead applied brakes, due to which the second petrol tanker going behind it collided with the first oil tanker. Due to this, petrol started leaking in the tanker. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the Uchana police station reached the spot with a fire brigade and ambulance. After this, the petrol tanker was taken away. Police are investigating the matter.
