Former Chief Minister Bhupendra Singh Hooda said that the state was expecting a big and new project from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, but has been disappointed. There has been a delay of 11 years in getting Hisar airport and Yamunanagar’s 800 MW power plant. Hooda was talking to journalists at his residence in D Park on Tuesday.
Hooda said that it was decided to build an airport in Hisar 11 years ago. At that time, Chaudhary Ajit Singh was the Aviation Minister at the Center, and he was the Chief Minister in the state. Similarly, when they built a power plant during the tenure of the Congress government in Yamunanagar, at the same time, a proposal for another 800 MW power plant was passed. Not only this, but the BJP leaders also used to talk about building an international airport in Hisar, but it did not happen. He said that wrong is happening with the farmers in the mandis.
Farmers’ crops are not being purchased in the name of moisture. If the crop gets wet in the rain, what is the fault of the farmer in this. The government should make strong arrangements to save the crop in the mandis. On the question of jobs in the state, Hooda said that BJP leaders say that Chief Minister Nayab Saini has given 25 thousand jobs with a stroke of the pen, while the reality is that the youth employed under HRN are being removed from jobs.
Haryana Staff Selection Commission is not able to give jobs. Recently the High Court has imposed a fine on the commission. There is no discussion on giving honorarium of Rs 2100 to women. On the case registered against leader Pratap Singh Bajwan in Punjab, Hooda said that this action has been taken due to political motivation. Whereas the questions raised by Bajwan are not being answered.
