Haryana weather: IMD predicts heatwave alert for 2 days in 14 districts, Nuh is the hottest

An orange alert of heat wave has been issued in 14 districts of the state.

Gurugram: The period of severe heat continues in Haryana. In view of this, an orange alert of heat wave has been issued in 14 districts of the state. During the last 24 hours, the maximum temperature has increased by 2 to 3 degrees. Nuh was the hottest, the maximum temperature here was recorded at 45.9 degrees. The Meteorological Department says that the situation in the state will remain the same till June 14. Weather experts say that the mercury can go up to 48 degrees in the south-western districts of the state.

The Meteorological Department has predicted severe heat in 14 districts on June 12 i.e. today. These include Sirsa, Fatehabad, Hisar, Jind, Bhiwani, Rohtak, Charkhi Dadri, Jhajjar, Mahendragarh, Rewari, Gurugram, Faridabad, Nuh, Palwal. Whereas on June 13, an orange alert of heat wave has been issued in entire Haryana with severe heat. There may be some relief from the heat on June 14, but in view of the situation, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert.

The Meteorological Department says that this time the monsoon is normal. Monsoon is expected to arrive in Haryana after 27th June. The worrying thing is that paddy plantation will start in the state from 15th June, this will increase the consumption of about 1.5 crore units of electricity. This time the target is to plant paddy in 12 lakh hectares, farmers plant coarse rice in June itself. Currently, there is a plan to provide electricity to farmers in two groups. As per the need, it can also be run in three groups.

Nuh has become the hottest in Haryana. The mercury here has reached 45.9 degrees. The mercury of Sirsa was recorded at 45.4 degrees. Apart from this, Hisar 45.1, Jind 45.5, Rewari 44.1, Sonipat 45.0, Kurukshetra 43.1, Rohtak 45.1, Ambala 44.1, Karnal 42.6, Dadri 44.8, Panipat 42.8, Mahendragarh 44.4, Yamuna Nagar 43.4, Gurugram 43.4, Panchkula 42.4, Palwal 43.5 have been recorded. In the last 24 hours, an average increase of one degree has been recorded in the day temperature in the state. It has become 4.0 degrees more than normal.
