Palwal: A person’s bag was stolen from a grocery shop located at Minar Gate, the main intersection of Palwal city. The bag was filled with one lakh rupees and bridal clothes. This theft incident was captured on CCTV. On the complaint of the victim, the police registered a case against the thief and started searching for him.

According to city police station in-charge Rajesh Kumar, Gajraj, a resident of Mohan Nagar Palwal, has said in his complaint that his son is getting married, for which he had gone to the market for shopping. He bought the bride’s clothes from the market and, after that, sat at the grocery shop to buy grocery items.

He had also kept his money in the bag, kept the bag on one side of the shop, and started making a list of items. During that time, a 13- to 14-year-old boy came and ran away with the bag by evading their eyes.

Gajraj said that the bag contained clothes bought for the bride and one lakh rupees. When he looked for the bag after some time, it was missing from there. He told Lalaji that the bag was kept in front of him; where was it? Lalaji said that don’t know about the bag; I saw a boy taking it.

When he checked the CCTV cameras installed in the nearby shops, a boy was seen sitting at the grocery shop in front of him for a long time, and then he got up from there and came to the shop in which he was sitting. A few minutes later, that boy was seen taking his bag and running away from the market.
