Complex cyber crimes will be solved, and forensic investigation and security will be provided against cybercrime. It will be easy to exchange information with neighbouring states like Punjab, Haryana, and Himachal Pradesh to solve cyber cases. Chandigarh is the nodal center of the Joint Cyber Crime Coordination Team.

Now that the code of conduct has been lifted, the date of the physical test can be announced soon. Regarding this, the recruitment board officials will announce the date of the physical test after discussing it with the DGP. IT constables will be deployed in Cyber Operations and Security, located in Sector 18.

At present, the center is being run by the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO), initially in Cyber Operations and Security, located in Sector 18. After the recruitment of IT constables, they will be deployed after training. DRDO will work in the center for the first three years.
