Vikram Singh said that a target has been set to plant about 3 lakh trees in the district. This plantation will be done in all government hospitals, health centers, dispensaries of the animal husbandry department, farms of the agriculture department, office premises, schools, colleges, ITI, universities, surplus lands of the canal department, office premises along with such roads of PWD department which are not declared as forest areas, rest house, office premises, all lands of Panchayat department, Panchayat houses, Anganwadi centers, Mandis of the market committee, roads, all types of sports complexes of the sports department, lands of the fisheries department, NGOs working in the district, along with all RWAs of the city.
The Deputy Commissioner said that whoever wants as many plants as he wants can take them from the Forest Department, for which he can contact Forest Department Officer Rajiv Tejiyan on 8447134282 and Additional Deputy Commissioner’s assistant Puneet Gaur on 8384023349.

Plants can be taken from the nursery located at Faridabad Headquarters Nursery, opposite Bypass Road, Sector 17 and RD 27, near Bypass Road, Sector 29, by contacting Forest Guard Johnny Yadav at 9068616208 and Surendra Daroga at 9896209930 over the phone.
