Kaithal: In Kaithal’s village Kasaur, the police team that went to serve notice to the accused in a fight case was attacked by several accused. The accused tore the uniform of a policeman. When the police post informed about the arrival of other policemen, all the accused fled from the spot. In this case, the police have registered a case against five people.
Head Constable Vijendra Kumar posted at Police Outpost Ramthali in his complaint to the Guhla police station said that on March 22, he along with the police team had gone to village Kasour to serve notice to the accused Pintu to join the investigation.
A complaint was received against the accused in a case of assault. When the police team reached his house, many men and women were present there. When they started giving notice to Pintu, he suddenly started abusing.
The accused were repeatedly asking to bring an axe from inside. Later, on receiving information about the arrival of other policemen from the post, all the accused fled from the spot.
The accused include Bintu, Jitendra, Suman, Seenu, Ajay and others. They assaulted Vijendra who was on government duty and tore his Police uniform. The complainant has demanded strict action against the accused.
Rampal, the investigating officer of the case from Ramthali Chowki, said that the police have registered a case against the accused. Further investigation of the case is being done. Further action will be taken on the basis of the investigation.
