Uklana: In Haryana’s Hisar, the police team of the Anti Narcotics Cell has caught a young man with poppy husk in Uklana. He had come here from Delhi to sell drugs. Police arrested him and seized 13 kg of poppy husk and his bike. Police officials are interrogating him now.
According to the information, the police team of the Anti Narcotics Cell of Hisar was present at the Uklana bus stand in search of drug suppliers. The police team received secret information that Amit Kumar, a resident of Delhi, who now lives in Ward No. 12 Guru Ravidas Mandir Wali Gali, Madanpura Road, Uklana, smuggles poppy husk and even today he is bringing poppy husk to sell. On receiving the information, the police immediately reached Uklana village at night and blocked the area.
According to the police, the police then saw a young man coming on a motorcycle. There were also 2 bags tied on the motorcycle. The police stopped the motorcycle on the basis of suspicion and questioned him. He said his name was Amit Kumar, resident of village Vigamau, district Farrukhabad, Uttar Pradesh, currently residing at G-96, lane N-2/B, West Karawat Nagar, North-East Delhi.
When the police team searched the two plastic bags kept by the accused on the motorcycle, a total of 13 kg 600 grams of poppy husk was found in them. On this, the police team arrested the accused Amit, and took the poppy husk and the motorcycle recovered from him into their possession. A case has been registered against accused Amit under various sections in Uklana police station.
