Hisar: A woman was found dead under suspicious circumstances in Koth Khurd village of Narnaund area of Hisar, Haryana. The parents of the deceased woman have accused her husband for the murder. It should be noted that the deceased woman’s husband is posted in the Haryana Police.
It is alleged that the police officer suspected his wife’s character and committed the murder of his own wife. When the parents reached the daughter’s in-laws’ house, she was found lying dead on the bed. The dupatta was also hanging from the fan. The police reached the spot and started the investigation. Police have registered a murder case against the husband, mother-in-law and father-in-law.
Rammehar, a resident of Badhavad village, told the Narnaund police in a statement that he works in agriculture. He has three children. The eldest daughter is Poonam, then Manju alias Sonia and the youngest son is Sahil. Both his daughters are married and son Sahil is unmarried. He told that his daughter Manju alias Sonia (24) was married to Sumit, a resident of Koth Khurd village, on 5 December 2020. Sumit is in the Haryana Police.
Manju’s father told police that his son received a phone call from brother of Sumit that their daughter Sonia is no more.
Manju’s father said that her husband Sumit used to beat his daughter after drinking alcohol. Her husband used to doubt Sonia’s character. He is completely convinced that his daughter has been murdered due to suspicion of character. Police has registered a murder case against the woman’s police personnel husband Sumit, mother-in-law Bala and father-in-law Rizak Ram in Narnaund police station. The body has been sent to the civil hospital for postmortem.
