Hisar: Villagers of Prabhwala village in the Uklana area of Hisar district of Haryana today reached the main Jal Ghar to protest against the dirty water supply. Villages protested, raised slogans, and warned to put a lock on the Jal Ghar if clean water supply is not restored.
On Monday, villagers of Prabhwala village reached Jal Ghar to complain about the problem of dirty water coming in the drinking water pipes. Villagers said that dirty water has been coming into the drinking water supply in the village for a long time. Due to this the villagers are facing a lot of trouble.
Villagers have also given their complaint to the Sarpanch, Public Health Department and District Deputy Commissioner Hisar and Public Health Department’s toll-free numbers regarding the problem.
They said that even after long time, their problem is not solved yet. Villagers said that many villagers have fallen ill due to drinking dirty water coming in the supply. Expressing their problem, villagers said that they are now forced to bring packaged drinking water from outside. Fed up from this villagers protested and raised their demand of clean water supply.
