Haryana: Railway Police (RP) has arrested a 12-year-old girl at Hisar railway station in Haryana. 2.5 kg of opium has been recovered from the girl. The girl had brought this opium from the Jodhpur district of Rajasthan. The cost of opium is around Rs 5 lakh. Police is trying to find out to whom the girl had come to supply opium and who sent her from Jodhpur to supply goods to Hisar. Police has registered a case against the minor girl and started investigation.
RP police was patrolling at Hisar railway station at 6 pm on Sunday.
During patrolling, ESI Balwan Singh, Head Constable Surendra Kumar, female police personnel Vijay Laxmi, female constable Mukesh, SPO Subhash Chandra, ASI RPF Aslam Khan, RPF constable Deepak were checking.
Meanwhile, near the accelerator near platform number 1, an informer informed that a girl had come from Jodhpur (Rajasthan) and she is wearing a blue lower and a black and white checkered shirt. She has a blue backpack which might contain opium.
The girl was sitting near the lift on platform number 5.
The informer told the police that a girl was sitting on a bench near the stone on the west side of the lift on platform number 5 of the railway station. She has brought opium from Jodhpur, Rajasthan to supply it to someone in Hisar. If a raid is conducted immediately, the girl can be caught along with the opium. RP became alert on this information.
After this, DSP Rajesh Kumar was informed. RP formed a team and caught the girl. On searching the bag, a large amount of opium was found in it.
Later it was weighed and it was found to be around 2.5 kg. Its cost is around 5 lakh rupees.
