Hisar: Electricity pole catches fire in rain

Explosions occurred due to water entering the meter, and people removed their vehicles.

Hisar: Due to rain since early morning on Adampur Road in Agroha of Hisar district, the electricity meters installed on the pole caught fire. And there was no loss of life or property.

Shop operators Sonu Bijarnia and Rajkumar Jangra said that it has been raining since morning. On Adampur Road, the meters of many shopkeepers are installed on poles outside the shops. Due to continuous rain, rainwater was also falling on the electricity meters. During this, suddenly there was an explosion in their meters, and all the meters installed on the pole caught fire.

During this, people buying goods in the shops promptly removed their vehicles parked near the pole, due to which a major accident was averted. Thankfully, there was no loss of life or property. Shopkeepers have informed the Agroha sub-division electricity office about the accident. Currently, the electricity supply has been stopped in the Agroha area.
