Two residents of Chandigarh defrauded of Rs 80 lakh in stock trading scheme

Anjan Kapoor and Avinash Agarwal contacted him for investment through a WhatsApp group named Goldman Sacks Watch Corp.

Chandigarh: Ravi Kumar, a resident of Sector-15, Chandigarh, was cheated of 70 lakhs in the name of stock trading, investment in the share market, and getting a job. After which the victim complained to the police. In which he told that on February 3, he saw a video on Instagram about earning money from stock trading. After which a WhatsApp group link came. He was added to Beed Acrecore Investment, Strategy Group, which had 136 members and used to give information about trading every day.

The company employee asked to install the trading app. After downloading the app, an account was created that was linked to the PNB account. After this, he invested Rs 20,000, which brought him some profit. After this, by luring him with huge profits, he was cheated into investing 25 lakh 32 thousand 400 rupees. After this, it was found out that it was a fake trading app.

In the second case, Dinesh Kumar, a resident of Sector-38, was duped of Rs 54.80 lakh in the name of investment in the stock market. In a complaint to the police, Dinesh told them that on March 7, 2023, Anjan Kapoor and Avinash Agarwal contacted him for investment through a WhatsApp group named Goldman Sacks Watch Corp. After this, he invested three times.

They invested three lakh in Amar Enterprises on April 9, 2024, and three lakh on April 7, 2024. Invested Rs 20 lakh in Chhatar Pal Goldman Sack Fund, Rs 1 lakh in Bondtech Enterprises Company in Goldman Sack, and Rs 10 lakh in Balaji Mobile Goldman Sack Fund. Dinesh Kumar said that he invested a total of 54 lakh, 80 thousand in the stock market. After this, he stopped picking up his phone.
