A sudden fire broke out in Haryana’s Beed Dandari (Tarwandi) village on Sunday night. The fire broke out in Garg Rice Industry. The cause of the fire is said to be short circuit.
However, nearby people tried to control the fire but when things got out of hand, fire brigade vehicles were later called to the spot and the fire was brought under control.
Actually, there was a short circuit in the transformer built near the industry, from which sparks were coming out. But no one paid attention to this.
Later, the same spark became the cause of fire in the industry. Because last Sunday night the winds were blowing very strong. Due to which the flames kept spreading. And within no time it engulfed the entire industry.
In discussions with the owners of the rice industry, a loss of around Rs 50 lakh is being estimated. 7 fire brigade vehicles brought the fire under control in about 4 hours.
The fire caused panic among the people present there. At first people tried to extinguish the fire by filling buckets with water and using pipes. Later fire brigade vehicles were called.
It took 4 hours to control the fire. Garg Rice Industries CMD Subhash Gupta has attributed the fire to short circuit in the industry. Electrical panels, hundreds of wooden crates, 25 thousand gunny bags, transformers, generators and machines were burnt to ashes in the fire.
