Karnal: A 19-year-old youth of Kachhwa village in Karnal district died in a road accident. The car hit the bike in which one died, whereas the pillion rider was seriously injured. The youth had gone to a birthday party with his friend. After getting information about the incident, Butana police station reached the spot and took the body in their custody, and sent it for postmortem.
The injured youth has been sent to Kalpana Chawla Medical College in Karnal, where he is undergoing treatment. Police is investigating the matter. The deceased has been identified as 19-year-old Vishal, a resident of Kachhwa. Vishal used to work in a cellar near Tarawadi. On Friday night, he went to a friend’s birthday party on a bike with his friend Anurag. Vishal who was driving the bike died whereas the pillion rider sustained major injuries and is undergoing treatment in the hospital.
