Rohtak: Jewelry worth lakh stolen from house, sister accuses brother for theft

In the complaint, she said that gold and silver jewelry has been stolen from the cupboard kept in her house.

Rohtak: A case of theft of gold and silver jewelry has come to light from a house in Uttam Vihar Colony of Rohtak city. The girl has accused her real brother and maternal uncle’s son of theft. She also lodged a complaint with the police. The police has also registered a case against both.

Sunita Kumari, a resident of Uttam Vihar Colony of Rohtak, complained of theft at the New Bus Stand Police Station. In the complaint, she said that gold and silver jewelry has been stolen from the cupboard kept in her house. This was discovered on January 1 when she checked her cupboard.

She said that a gold chain, 2 pairs of gold earrings, an Om locket, three nose pins, and a silver earring were found missing from her cupboard. She accused her own brother and maternal uncle of theft. She said that her maternal uncle’s son also lived in her house and both of them have committed this theft together.

Following this she lodged a complaint of the matter with the police. Based on the complaint, the police registered a case against both the accused and started an investigation.
