Rohtak: The body of a person was found lying near Rupaiya Chowk on Jhajjar Road in Rohtak. Liquor bottles were also found near the body. As soon as the information about the case was received, the police team reached the spot and started an investigation. However, the deceased has not been identified yet.
At the same time, the police is also considering the cause of death as excessive consumption of alcohol or cold from the primary point of view. However, the real reasons of the death will be known only after the post-mortem report comes.
Investigating officer of Shivaji Colony police station Ashish said that on Tuesday morning the police received information that the body of a person was lying in the bushes near Rupaiya Chowk on Jhajjar Road. On receiving the information, Shivaji police station police reached the spot and inspected the body.
The police found an empty liquor bottle and a water bottle lying near the body. The deceased person is about 50 years old but he could not be identified as he did not have any identity card.
The police took the body into custody and sent it to the mortuary of Rohtak PGI for identification and post-mortem. Initially, it seems that the person died in a state of unconsciousness due to drinking alcohol and staying in the cold at night.
