Rohtak: Property dealer shot dead in his office, friends escaped narrowly

Around 10 to 12 rounds were fired at Anuj in the deadly attack.

Rohtak: A case of murder of a property dealer has come to light from Bahadurgarh. A young man who was sitting in his along with his friends was shot by masked shooters. 2 to 3 youths riding on bikes entered the office with masks on their faces. The masked men had pistols with them. As soon as they came inside, they opened fire bullets on the property dealer resulting death on spot.

The deceased has been identified as 32-year-old Anuj Rao, resident of Delhi Gate. Anuj was sitting in the office with his friends Ravindra, Akash and Praveen. The young man’s office is located near Punjabi Rasoi on Bahadurgarh Road. Around 8 pm, the accused attacked Anuj with a pistol in which he died.

10 to 12 Rounds fired

Around 10 to 12 rounds were fired at Anuj in the deadly attack. During the investigation, doctors found 6 to 7 bullets from the dead body. Anuj’s friends managed to save themselves with the help of chairs kept nearby But Anuj died on the spot.

Following the attack, the accused fled from the spot. The incident has been reported to the police. After receiving the information, Assistant Police Commissioner Shamsher Singh reached the spot. Police officials took stock of the matter and kept the body in the mortuary of the Civil Hospital.

Investigation started on statement of family members

Police officers noted the statement of the family members. The family members did not express any doubt on anyone. The family members said that they had no information about Anuj having any enmity with anyone. Police is taking action and taking investigation forward based on the statement of family members
