Yamuna claim lives: Bodies of two youths found in Sanauli, search for thirs continues

Panipat: In Sanauli of Panipat district, out of 6 friends who came to bathe in the Yamuna River on Thursday, three friends drowned in deep water. Bodies of 2 youths have been recovered from them. The search for the third youth is still on. Both the deceased have been identified as Nitesh and Sumit, residents.

The search for the third youth is still on. Both the deceased have been identified as Nitesh and Sumit, residents of Khotpura village.

Three youths drowned while bathing in the Yamuna River on the Haryana-UP border in Sanauli on 15th August at 3 pm. After receiving the information, police reached the spot and started searching for the three youths with the help of divers. On the third day, the body of Sumit was recovered near village Goyala Khurd, 8 km from Yamuna Bridge. The body of the second youth, Nitesh, has been recovered near the bridge itself. The body of the third youth has not been recovered yet. The team of divers from Haryana and Uttar Pradesh is searching for the third youth, Sumit alias Sundesi, son of Ajmer.
