Chandigarh: In a shocking incident, Russell Viper which is considered snake of dangerous species was caught from inside the Haryana Vidhan Sabha. The snake was sitting in the security room of the Vidhan Sabha when it was discovered by the staff members.
Earlier in the morning, when the cleaning staff came there as usual in the morning, they saw the snake. On first, the employees panicked on seeing the snake. They ran outside and one by one the employees came out of the Vidhan Sabha.
The forest department was informed on the spot. The forest department called a snake expert. He caught the snake with the help of tools. The snake was about 3 feet long. Stationery items are kept there in the part of the Vidhan Sabha from where the snake was caught.
Haryana Vidhan Sabha is surrounded by forest on three sides. There is greenery here, due to which snakes, etc. keep coming out here. This is not the first time snake was found in the Haryana assembly. Earlier last year a big snake was found, which was rescued by the forest department team and left in the forest.
