Gurugram: A speeding car hit a woman near Vatika Chowk in Gurugram, Haryana, on Thursday morning. She died on the spot in the accident. The deceased has been identified as Saroj, a municipal corporation sanitation worker.
After the incident, the driver fled, leaving the car on the spot. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and took the car into custody. The deceased’s family has been informed about the accident. The police have blocked the surrounding area and started searching for the accused.
On the other hand, the angry sanitation workers blocked the highway.
They raised brooms in their hands and raised slogans against the government and administration. A long traffic occurred on the highway.
