Speeding temp hits bike in Sonipat: Wife dead, husband critical

A woman died in a road accident while her husband was seriously injured. Both of them had come to their native village from Delhi on a bike for some work. Doctors have referred the husband to Rohtak PGI in critical condition. When the son reached the spot after getting information about the accident, the bike was stuck under the tempo. The father has been admitted to a private hospital. The police have registered a case.

According to the information, Delhi resident Ramesh Kumar was returning from Moi Majri village with his wife Suman Devi. Meanwhile, a speeding tempo hit their Splendor bike on the Garhi Bindroli double canal bridge. The collision was so severe that the bike got stuck under the tempo. After the accident, the driver left the tempo and fled from the spot.

Ramesh’s son Rajesh said that he is a resident of Bawana Road Vishal Enclave Narela North West Delhi. He has a clothes shop in Delhi. His parents had gone to their native village Moi Majri. His father Ramesh called him and informed him that there was an accident. His parents were seriously injured in it. His mother was taken to the government hospital Sonipat by DIAL – 112.

He took his father in his car to the government hospital in Sonipat. When asked about his mother’s condition, they told him that she had died. Seeing his father’s critical condition, he was referred to PGIMS Rohtak. Instead of Rohtak , he took his father to a private hospital on Bahalgarh Road. His treatment is going on there.

On the basis of Rajesh’s statement regarding the accident, the police have registered a case against the tempo driver in Kundli police station under sections 281,106,125A BNS. Police is investigating the accident.
