There are 5 districts in the state where the mercury is still above 45 degrees. These include Sirsa, Rohtak, Hisar, Mewat, Mahendragarh and Jind districts. The Meteorological Department says that the situation in these districts has been bad for the last 24 days. There is no hope of getting relief from heat in these districts in future as well.
42-year-old record of heat wave has been broken
This time all the records of heat wave have been broken in Haryana. Just three days ago, a new record has been created by breaking the 42-year record in the state. In the year 1982, heat wave prevailed for 19 consecutive days. This time 23 days have passed. Weather experts say that the same conditions are going to remain in Haryana for now. Weather experts are saying that the reason for this change in weather is less than normal rainfall in May.
Chances of rain, but temperature will not change
There is no possibility of relief from heat in the month of June as well. According to IMD, there are chances of drizzle or light rain in many districts of the state today, but there is no possibility of much drop in day temperature. Anyway, the effect of the western disturbance that became active 5 days ago is now over. Due to this the weather remains dry again. Due to this, there are chances of increase in day temperature again. There is every possibility of increase in night temperature by 2 to 3 degrees.
How will the weather be in future
The Meteorological Department says that there are chances of change again in the state after 2 days. Another western disturbance may become active from 5 to 6 June i.e. today and tomorrow. This may provide some relief from the heat on June 6. At the same time, the state may experience more heat than normal in June. However, May was also hotter than normal. There is a possibility of heat wave in June as well.
