Hisar, June 2: In Haryana, the weather has changed for the third consecutive day. After a strong storm on Monday, it is raining in Bhiwani. Dust storms also occurred in Hisar, Sirsa, Jind, Fatehabad and Narnaul. There is a possibility of rain here, too.
The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for rain and thunderstorms in 15 districts. These include Sirsa, Fatehabad, Hisar, Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Kaithal, Jind, Mahendragarh, Rohtak, Rewari, Jhajjar, Faridabad, Nuh, Palwal, and Gurugram.
On the other hand, the weather department has released the data on rainfall from 23 May to 29 May. In these 7 days, Haryana has received 60 per cent more rainfall. Haryana received more rainfall than expected in May. The record of about 17 years has been broken.
Earlier in 2008, 72.1 mm of rain had fallen in the month of May, but this time, 59.7 mm of rain had fallen in the month of May. According to Dr. Madan Khichad, Head of the Department of Agricultural Meteorology, Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, this rain will now eliminate the effect of the heat wave to a large extent.
A day before, on June 1, light rain was seen in 5 districts of Haryana, Gurugram, Nuh, Faridabad, Charkhi Dadri, Bhiwani and Jhajjar. Drizzle was recorded at other places. Due to strong winds in Narnaul, trees broke and fell on the road. There was a change in the weather in Bhiwani and Charkhi Dadri in the afternoon.

There is a possibility of rain in 16 districts on Tuesday. Apart from Sirsa, Hisar, Fatehabad, Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Mahendragarh, Rewari, Gurugram, Mewat, areas adjoining Rajasthan, a yellow alert has been issued for Faridabad, Palwal, Panchkula, Yamunanagar and Ambala. During this time, strong winds will also blow at a speed of about 50 km per hour.
In the last one week, everywhere except Bhiwani received good rain
According to the data of the last one week in Haryana, everywhere except Bhiwani received good rain. Panipat received the highest rainfall of 2533%. Apart from this, Kurukshetra received 1167% rain, Yamuna Nagar received 956%, Karnal received 982%, Kaithal received 857% and Jhajjar received 844% rain.
Apart from this, there has been 673% rain in Fatehabad, 606% in Gurugram, 511% in Jind, 510% in Sirsa, 512% in Ambala, 496% in Nuh, 352% in Mahendragarh, 341% in Hisar, 304% in Sonipat, 293% in Rohtak, 216% in Palwal and 16% in Bhiwani.
