Tax Bar Association elections after 45 years in Hisar, voting for 9 posts on January 4

Hisar: After 45 years, the annual elections of the Tax Bar Association will be held on January 4 in Hisar. In this election, 19 candidates are in the fray for 9 posts. The election will start at 9 am in the Tax Bar Association located in the Mini Secretariat, which will continue till 3.30 pm. The result is expected by 6 pm.

Election officer CA Pawan Mittal said that a committee of 4 members has been formed for the election. This committee includes CA Sanjay Verma, Advocate Naresh Kumar Bansal, Advocate Rajesh Kumar Jain and Advocate Vijay Takkar. They have been unanimously appointed as officers.

Pawan Mittal said that 23 people had filed nominations for the election. Out of which 4 people withdrew their nominations, now 19 candidates are contesting for 9 posts. He said that Ajay Kumar Bhardwaj and Kuldeep Kumar Jain are candidates for the post of Pradhan while Mangal Saini and Satpal Goyal are contesting for the post of Deputy Pradhan Income Tax and Bharat Bhushan and Rajendra Prasad are contesting for the post of Deputy Pradhan GST.

Adish Jain and Shiva Bhardwaj have filed nominations for the post of secretary and Mohit Garg and Sanjay Kumar Sharma for the post of joint secretary. Three candidates Mukul Mittal, Puneet Mittal and Rajesh Kumar Sheoran have entered the fray for the post of treasurer.

Alok Kumar Jain, Jagdish Lal Dhamija, Manish Kumar, Pawan Kumar Taneja, Rakesh and Ramesh Jain are contesting to become executive members. He said that all preparations for the elections have been completed and administrative officials have also been informed in this regard.

Hisar Tax Bar Association was established in 1979. No elections have been held since then till the year 2024. All the office bearers were always elected unanimously in the annual meeting. This time elections are being held on the demand of the members.
