The Meteorological Department has issued a heat wave warning in Haryana. The heat wave will prevail in the state from today (June 9). The Meteorological Department has predicted heat wave conditions both during the day and night. An orange alert has been issued in Sirsa, Fatehabad, Hisar, Jind and Rohtak.
A yellow alert has been issued in Bhiwani, Kaithal, Kurukshetra, Ambala, Gurugram, Faridabad, Mewat and Palwal. The temperature in these cities may cross 45 degrees. Let us tell you that on Sunday, the temperature in 18 districts of Haryana had crossed 40 degrees.
The highest temperature was recorded in Sirsa and Rohtak. The temperature here had crossed 45 degrees. However, meteorologists have predicted similar weather till June 11. The temperature may increase due to desert winds blowing in the south-western areas of Haryana adjoining Rajasthan for 2 days.
