Young man absconds with KIA car in Ambala

The police of Ambala Cantt's Padav police station have registered a case under various sections and started an investigation.

Ambala: The cunning thug, who reached Ambala in a rented car from Rajasthan, absconded with the car. The incident happened last night near Ambala Cantt railway station. The cunning thug first fed the car driver drugs in ice cream, then absconded with the KIA car as soon as he got the chance. The police of Ambala Cantt’s Padav police station have registered a case under various sections and started an investigation.

Jitendra Singh, a resident of Hanumangarh, Rajasthan, told me that he has a KIA (RJ31UA4836) car, which he drives on rent. He received a call from Aseem Khan at 9 a.m. on June 19. Amin Khan drives a taxi at Hanumangarh Junction. He said that a person named Sahil Kumar is staying at the Nanda Hotel Hanumangarh Junction. Sahil has to be taken to Ludhiana, Punjab. He was told that after staying in Ludhiana for a day, Sahil would come back to Pilibanga (Rajasthan).

He left Rajasthan with Sahil on the morning of June 19 and reached Ludhiana at 4 p.m. Sahil told him that his madam would be arriving at Ambala Cantt railway station at 11 p.m., and he would take her back to Pilibanga.

They reached Ambala Cantt railway station at 9 p.m. on June 20. Here he ate ice cream near Vishal Dhaba, after which he started feeling sleepy. He went to Ambala Cantt station to drink water. When he returned, he saw that Sahil had fled with his car. The driver alleges that Sahil gave him some intoxicating substance mixed in the ice cream. The police of Padav police station have registered a case against accused Sahil under sections 328, 379, and 420 and started an investigation.
