Chandigarh: The Haryana government has decided that all candidates in respect of appointment to any post by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) and Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) until September 30, 2024, can be appointed on an interim basis without prior verification of their character, antecedents, or all documents required for appointment.
A letter to this effect has been issued by the Chief Secretary’s Office.
According to the letter, verification of character, antecedents, and all other documents required for a final appointment will be completed within two months after their interim appointment instead of three months.

All administrative secretaries, heads of departments, chief administrators, and managing directors of all boards, corporations, and public sector undertakings, as well as all divisional commissioners, deputy commissioners, and registrars of all universities in the state, have been instructed to ensure strict compliance with these instructions.
