Haryana: The process of admission in polytechnic institutions has been started by the State Technical Education Society of the Higher Education Department. In such a situation, students should apply as soon as possible so that they do not have to face any kind of problem. Students will be able to apply online for admission till June 17.
There is a polytechnic institute in village Dhangad. In such a situation, nearby students will also benefit. This institute is on Hisar-Sirsa National Highway. In such a situation, students will not have to face problems regarding transportation etc. in the coming days.
The department has released separate schedules for admission under Diploma Engineering and Diploma Engineering Lateral Entry. Applications under lateral entry will be taken till June 19 and the first cut off list will be released on 21st. Apart from this, the second counseling will continue till July 8.
A help desk has been set up for admission in the Government Polytechnic Institute. There are 300 seats in five diploma courses here. In such a situation, fighting also happens in the last days. But if students have good marks then they will get admission accordingly. Every year there is a fight for admission. Due to lack of polytechnic institute nearby, many students from Fatehabad city are also going to study.
Students will also have to pay a fee during registration for admission to a polytechnic institute. The registration fee for general category students has been kept at Rs 1000. Apart from this, there is a registration fee of Rs 700 for women candidates and reserved category.
If medical and non-medical students take admission in a polytechnic institute, they will get the benefit of one year. If someone has passed medical or non-medical class 12th or has done ITI, then under the scheme he will get admission in the second year in a polytechnic institute.
Subhash Chand, Principal of Polytechnic Institute, Dhangad, said that the admission process has started. In such a situation, students should apply as soon as possible so that they can take admission. A help desk has also been set up for this.
