Haryana: The scorching heat in Gurugram is creating new records every day. Due to the heatwave the crowd of patients in the hospital has also started increasing. On one bed two patients are treating. In view of the heat, the Meteorological Department has warned Delhi- Red alert has been issued in NCR till May 29. Apart from this, orange alert has been issued on May 30 that heat wave will prevail and people have been advised to take caution.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light drizzle on May 30. In such a situation, people of Delhi-NCR are expected to get some relief. The maximum temperature of Gurugram on Monday will be up to 46 degrees Celsius. Hot winds will blow at a speed of 20 to 30 kilometers throughout the day. People have been advised to avoid this.
Due to unannounced power cuts and non-availability of water supply in the scorching heat, the problems of the city residents have doubled. Due to no electricity, people have to stay awake all night and due to non-availability of water in the morning, they are not able to do their daily work. Every day people have to buy water and drink it. The people of Sector-57 are facing the most problems.
Hundreds of families are facing problems due to non-availability of water since the beginning of summer. Despite complaints, no solution is being found. On the other hand, in about two dozen areas including Sector-22, Palam Vihar, Rajendra Park, New Colony, etc. People are facing problems due to unannounced power cuts. There was an unannounced cut of about 5 hours last night in Badshahpur sub division area also due to which people remained quite disturbed. People even allege that the officers assigned the duty of providing smooth electricity do not even answer the phone.
The Director of Operation Branch of South Haryana Electricity Distribution Corporation (DHBVN) has prohibited the officials from leaving Gurugram without prior notice. It has been said in the order that with the increase in temperature the demand for electricity has increased. The load on the power infrastructure has increased.
The order said that it has come to his notice that many officers are leaving Gurugram without prior notice. In case of their going out, there is a problem in repairing the electricity infrastructure. In such a situation, now such negligence will be taken seriously.
