A case of theft has come from the store of Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Matalouda in Panipat. Goods worth Rs 17,792 kept in the store have been stolen. On the complaint of the victim, the police have registered a case and started investigation.
The employees of the electricity department had kept the goods in the store on 25 February. When the employees reached the store on 27 February, they found the window grill broken. When the employees opened the lock of the CSC room, the goods kept inside were missing.
Information of theft given to SDO
The stolen goods include many equipment, including HT-PT. The employees immediately informed the SDO of the electricity department about the matter. After investigation, the SDO complained to unknown thieves in Matalouda police station on April 1.
The police reached the spot and inspected the store room. Further investigation is going on in the matter.
