Leopard terror in Gurugram, seen in CCTV of Gaushala in Tikli village

According to the information, the terror of leopards has come to the fore in Tikli village of Gurugram.

Tikli: There is an atmosphere of panic after a leopard was seen in a village in Gurugram, Haryana. The leopard has been captured in the CCTV installed in the Gaushala. If the villagers are to be believed, the leopard has entered the Gaushala and hunted 10 cows. After the information, the personnel of the Wildlife Department reached the spot. The villagers say that they are only whitewashing.

According to the information, the terror of leopards has come to the fore in Tikli village of Gurugram. Last night two leopards were seen in the CCTV installed in the Gaushala of the village. One leopard was seen jumping over the wall and coming inside. After the leopards were seen in the village, there is an atmosphere of panic in the entire village. The villagers say that during a month, the leopard has hunted 10 cows of the Gaushala of their village.

The information about the sighting of the leopard in Tikli village was given to the Wildlife Department. The officials have visited the village. A trap has also been provided to catch the leopards. The villagers allege that they are not at all satisfied with the department’s action. Here only whitewashing work is being done.

Tikli village is situated on the Aravalli mountains. Late at night, leopards are reaching Tikli village from the Aravalli mountains in search of prey. However, the villagers are also taking measures to control the leopards at their own level. Efforts are also being made to save the cows in the cowshed from being hunted by them.

According to Wildlife Officer Rajesh Chahal, Tikli village is situated in the Aravalli range. This cowshed is built right next to the Aravalli. Earlier also there has been a complaint that a leopard came and hunted a cow and went away. Even today when the officials went there, they saw that the cow had been hunted. CCTV was also seen, in which two leopards have been captured.
