Threat to blow up secretariat in Haryana for second consecutive day, bomb squad on spot

Entry of employees and people has been stopped at the gate of the Mini Secretariat.

There has been a threat to blow up the Mini Secretariat in Fatehabad, Haryana, with RDX. On Wednesday morning, the message came on DC Mandeep Kaur’s mail ID. After the information, the security of the Mini Secretariat has been increased. Dogs and bomb squads are searching the building. Entry of employees and people has been stopped at the gate of the Mini Secretariat. An ambulance is also deployed on the spot.

SP Siddhant Jain said that such messages keep coming and there is no need to panic about this. The police is looking at everything from the security point of view. Nothing much can be said right now.

A day earlier, there was a threat to blow up the Mini Secretariat in Faridabad with RDX. The threat came on the DC’s email ID. Here too the police conducted a search operation. In which nothing suspicious was found.

The message to blow up the Mini Secretariat in Faridabad came in the name of Madras Tiger. It was written in the message that the blast will be done at 4 pm. DC Vikram Singh had told that an email was received at around 6.30 am on Tuesday, in which information was given about the presence of a bomb in the Mini Secretariat.

As soon as the information was received, the police force and the dog squad team were immediately alerted, and security agencies checked every corner of the secretariat before the office opened.

During the investigation, no objectionable object or explosive material was found. The threatening email turned out to be a rumor. Strict action will be taken against those who spread rumors.
