Protest in Hisar: Women express anger over AIDS employees by applying mehandi on hands and forehead

These employees had raised many demands, including making them permanent.

Hisar: Today, AIDS employees demonstrated in Hisar under the banner of the Haryana State AIDS Control Employees Organization. They were angry that they should be given their share on the lines of other states. The employees have been on strike for 6 days over their pending demands. On Tuesday, they sat on a protest in the Civil Hospital and raised slogans against the government regarding their demands.

On the occasion of the Teej festival, women AIDS employees expressed their anger by applying mehendi to their hands and foreheads. During this, more than 30 employees were present. The district head of the union, Dr. Sadama Baudh, said that our main demand is that the employees of the AIDS department should be regularized. Service bylaws should be given on the lines of NHM employees; AIDS department employees should be given state shares on the lines of other states.

He said that the conditions of the pending file (2017-2018) of AIDS employees should be implemented with immediate effect, and the facility of an Ayushman card should be provided. The district head said that he has also held a meeting with Minister Dr. Kamal Gupta regarding the demands, but no solution was found.

He said that if the demands of the employees are not met, the outline of the upcoming movement will be decided. The CM residence can also be surrounded.
