Karnal: Today Ambala STF has taken big action in Karnal, Haryana. The accused, who took the ransom money, has been arrested by Ibrahim Mandi. The accused has been taken on a 3-day remand by the team.

According to information, Inspector Surendra said that a few days ago, Vaibhav, a resident of Kurukshetra, worked in immigration. He was asked for a ransom of Rs 50 lakh by Bhanu Rana, a criminal from Sambhali village of Karnal, sitting in the USA.

Vaibhav had told the police in his complaint that the accused criminals had also threatened to shoot him if he did not pay the ransom. Due to this, Vaibhav talked about paying the money in installments and fixed the first installment at Rs 5 lakh.

On July 13, after preparing the money for the first installment, Vaibhav called the crook sitting in America and also informed the police team about the matter.
