On this occasion, trade leader Bajrang Das Garg said that the police still have time until Friday. The police are only giving assurances; the traders are not going to sit idle with mere assurances. The government and administration should give a permanent solution to the criminals. Until the government does not incise the miscreants, the traders will not sit quietly. If the government does not catch the miscreants in time, then in the coming days, we will surround the Chief Minister’s residence in Karnal. If needed, a meeting of the traders of the state will be called, and a call for a state bandh will also be given.

No one has been arrested so far in the case of demanding Rs 9 crore in extortion from three traders of Hisar’s auto market. On Monday, a Rs 5 crore ransom was demanded from INLD leader Rambhagat Gupta, owner of the Mahindra showroom in the auto market. The next day, a two crore ransom was demanded from Bhim Auto Mobiles and two crore from Goyal Tarpaulin House. So far, all the cases are in the hands of the police. The investigation of the extortion case has been handed over to the Special Task Force (STF). Their team is engaged in searching for the criminals.

On the other hand, police teams have received new input. The police team has scanned about 2000 CCTV cameras in the city and surrounding areas. An investigation of the footage has revealed that the miscreants did not take the direct route for extortion.

The miscreants entered the auto market after roaming around the area. After this, two miscreants also bought goods worth about Rs 500 after doing a recce at a shop. Police teams have also seized the footage of those youths. The footage shows that four bikes and two cars were used to carry out these crimes.
