Jind: Tomorrow, June 30th, is the last day for online applications for admission to UG courses in Haryana colleges. So far, 1 lakh, 21 thousand, and 354 students have applied for admission to 344 degree colleges across the state. The first merit list will be released on July 5.
According to the new schedule released by the Higher Education Department of Haryana, students can apply online for admission until June 30. After this, students can make amendments to the form until July 1. It will be based on the OTP on the mobile number given by the students. The documents will be checked by the colleges until July 2. After this, the first provisional merit list will be released on the portal by the Higher Education Department on July 4.
If any student has any objection regarding the merit list, then he will be able to register a complaint on the online portal. After this, the objections of the students will be seen by the Higher Education Department, and the first final merit list will be released on July 5.
Students securing a place on the first merit list will be able to pay the fees until July 9. The second provisional merit list will be released on July 10, and the final merit list will be released on July 11. Students securing a place on the merit list will be able to pay the fees until July 13. If seats remain vacant in colleges even after the first and second merit lists, then physical counselling will be done at the college level on July 16.
The portal will be opened again by the Higher Education Department on July 17 to apply online for registration. Interested students can take admission from July 17 to July 23 with a late fee of Rs 100. Even after this, if there are vacant seats, then from July 24 to July 30, they can take admission with a late fee of Rs 100 per day. Parivar Pehchan Patra will also be mandatory for students, along with 12th-grade documents for admission.
Dr Tanasha Hooda, Principal of Safidon Government College in Jind, said that a new schedule has been released by the Higher Education Department regarding admission to UG courses. The online application process will continue until June 30. After this, the first merit list will be released on July 5.
